Nick Playing Grammy Awards Nominations Ceremony Solo - But Not Without A Little Help from Brothers

While fans might just be learning of the new Nick Jonas project, the brothers have long known and recognized the new solo effort by the youngest, famous brothers. And while the group Nick Jonas and the Administration still doesn’t have an album released, or a single, they are playing at the 2010 Grammy Award ceremony, added to the Recording Academy’s December 2nd CBS Specila “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night.” Though the youngest will be out on stage performing, his brothers won’t be left out - Joe and Kevin will be announcing their brother as he comes on stage. The group will join the Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell and Sugarland for the taping held at Club Nokia and will air at 9pm EST with LL Cool J hosting.

The group hasn’t been getting press for long but already they have found a way to make it to one of music’s biggest nights. The quartet has recorded in Nashville though Nick hasn’t revealed much about the musical aspect of the project, other than it being “heart and soul.”

Jonas Brothers Surprise a UK School

“For us, music was everything around us. Growing up, our dad introduced us to so many different artists, and so many different things and ya know, I think for us being able to be musicians, performers, ourselves is always a dream come true,” said Kevin Jonas when he visited the Gateshead Writing Comprehensive School. “We always hoped that we could be able to do it, but we never thought we could be together as brothers, so it’s an amazing thing to be in a band with your family. It’s awesome.”

The boys are currently visiting the UK during their tour, as they have already hit up Spain, Germany and Italy. The group, who remain one of the most important role models for many fans out there, signed autographs and performed their go-to acoustic single, “SOS.” The girls and boys in the uniforms were loving the tunes, some girls screaming their lungs out, clapping and hugging the boys, while all remaining dignified.

The boys also got made the fourth spot on the Top 20 Concert Tours, marked by average box office grossings in North America.

Jonas Brothers Giving UK School Music Programs a Boost

The Jonas Brothers are visiting the UK’s Ryton Comprehensive School in Gateshead today, educating students on music, the guitar and song arranging. In tune with the government’s Tune In - Year of the Music Campagin, the program hopes to educate students on the importance of being musically inclined and studying the language. “We hope to inspire kids to pick up an instrument if they have never done so before or to practice more if they already know how to play,” Kevin Jonas said. The group were extremely passionate about showing the school the importance of their musical repertoire. School teacher Steve Williamson added to the BBC, “We are very proud to have The Jonas Brothers come to our school today. Ryton runs a number of extra curricular activities and I hope that The Jonas Brothers coming to the school will inspire more children to get involved in music.”

The group is really supportive of any organization that loves to promote music, as the trio of New Jersey brats grew up with a supportive musical family that enable them to become the musical geniuses they are today. Get Jonas Brothers tickets from StubHub today!

JoBros Donating their Time

The Target house is so important because so many families come here for extended periods of time for their treatment,” says Kevin Jonas on the Power of Youth Videos and PSA’s Variety website, “so to have a place they can call home. They’re not staying in a hotel, ya know, they have family here. Target and partners with Variety have done such an amazing job with this, it’s incredible.” Nick Jonas continued with, “Seeing the patients was incredible. A couple of them particularly would just come up and say ‘Hi! It’s so nice to meet you.’ It’s kinda an amazing feeling, just that maybe we’re being an encouragement to them, but most of all we’re bringing an inspiration to us.” Joe continues, “We meet these kids that are going through such a tough time, yet they still have the biggest smiles on their faces. And it’s an inspiration, it really is. It makes you look at everything you have and appreciate it even more.” The boys performed their single “SOS” for the kids. “We’re on it to help,” Nick concludes.
