The Walkmen Are on a Journey of New Concert Dates

The Walkmen are keeping busy over the course of the next few months, with a new round of U.S. dates, a slew of festival appearances and an upcoming trip to Scandinavia.  In the month of August The Walkmen will play in Frank Lloyd Wright’s rotunda at the Guggenheim Museum on August 14 as part of the museum’s “It Came From Brooklyn” series.  Just two days later they will play a free show alongside Dinosaur Jr. at NYC’s Central Park SummerStage.  The following month, the band will head int he direction of Scandinavia with shows booked at the Gota Kallare in Stockholm, Sweden, John Dee in Oslo, Norway and Hulen in Bergen, Norway.  They will stop at quite a few fall festivals including: the Monolith Festival at Red Rocks, the Austin City Limits at Zilker Park and Treasure Island in San Francisco.  Don’t miss seeing them live at one of their many U.S. dates!
