Scott Weiland Goes to Jail!

Scott Weiland, the rocker who has enjoyed a long career with the likes of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver is now facing his harshest critic - the law. (You guys like that one?) Sadly, Scott Weiland has been sentenced to jail time for a DUI, receiving eight days in jail. Weiland pleaded no contest to misdemeanor drunk driving charges and entered the plea thorugh his attorney. Weiland was also sentence to four years probation and is being instructed to take part in an 18-month long alcohol program.

Not too shabby considering how many run-ins with the law the performer has had, and how many illicit substances Weiland has imbibed thorughout his long career. Still, it may take a little time for Weiland to get his career back in order as he was recently booted from Velvet Revolver.
