Michael Phelps appearing with Miley Cyrus, others, at VMA Awards
If Michael Phelps can find time away from polishing the many, many, many gold medals he has strung up about his house, he’ll be appearing at the MTV Music Video Awards this year, an athletic celebrity among musical celebrities. He’ll be a presenter, actually, along with numerous other major stars, including Lindsay Lohan, Ciara, Miley Cyrus and more.
Cyrus in particular has been a big name these days, being the clean-cut version that Britney Spears never even set out to be. Kudos to her on allowing that wholesomeness to drive her career, and hopefully it lasts. Her record sales show no sign of slowing down, in any case, and her appearance at the VMA Awards is yet another sign that she’ll be appearing on the channel for a long time to come.
