Lily Allen Not Retiring

Last month Lily Allen announced that she didn’t have any plans to make another album, which led to an overflow of rumors, speculating that the pop star was actually going to retire from the music industry.  Not so, apparently.  Her representative told NME.com that the singer “is not quitting pop music.” Allen herself cleared things up, explaining to fans and the media that she is thinking about taking a break from making her own music and will be helping other artists’ jump start their own careers in the industry…which isn’t exactly throwing in the towel.  Allen went onto explain during an interview at the Q Awards on Monday, “I feel like having a bit of time for a break from doing that and do something else for a while.”
