Jay-Z: Emphasizing Change

Barack Obama won the support of many actors and musicians over the course of his campaign and there is no down that their support for the incoming prez has not waned.  Rap mongul Jay-Z is planning to headline a pre-inauguration day concert in honor of President-elect Obama at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. on January 19.  He will be backed up by a live band and the venue can seat up to 1,847 people.

Jay-Z rose to the top of the rap world so quickly, for many it may have seemed like a blur.  He is not only known for his songs, but also for his role as CEO of Def Jam Recordings and Roc-A-Fella Records and he also is co-owner of the New Jersey Nets.  One of the most financially successful hip hop artists and entrepreneurs in America, Jay-Z has attracted international attention over the years.  check Jay-Z out live at one of his many upcoming concerts, with your own pair of Jay-Z tickets.
