Is it Angus Young or Clark Kent?

When are you too old to wear a school boy outfit? Probably most people around the world would say…16? 17?

In any case, Angus Young clearly never got the memo. It’s been 34 years since he first donned the outfit as part of Australian rock band AC/DC, and he’s still appearing on stage in those ridiculously high-cut shorts. The man is clearly dedicated to his audience. But he’s a professional, and like any professional going to work, he has a uniform he’s expected to wear—it even involves a collar and tie.

Rolling Stone has an extensive and very interesting interview with AC/DC, which any fan will be excited to see. Even if you don’t want to read the whole thing, check out the opening paragraphs, about how, 20 minutes to every show, Young disappears only to emerge in his trademark outfit. Like Clark Kent, as the band’s vocalist, Brian Johnson, points out.

If you haven’t seen them in a while, now’s the chance to get concert tickets. AC/DC tickets are available at StubHub.com.
