Hall and Oates are back…and so is Oates’ ’stache

Legendary pop team Hall and Oates are back on the road, but you might be seeing Oates—or his mustache, at least, on television soon as well. According to Billboard, via a Rolling Stone blog, Oates is currently shopping around a cartoon show pitch that involves him and his mustache engaging in wacky adventures together. Truly bizarre or truly awesome?

J-Stache, as the show will be called, centers around a family man (Oates) lured back into the wild rock lifestyle by his mustache, improbably voiced by Dave Attell. In the pilot, they’re rumored to attempt opening a rock ’n’ roll hall of fame dedicated to only artists with mustaches, but have to fight off Tom Selleck and a pack of goons. This will truly be great entertainment.

While you anticipate the show, why not get concert tickets to see both performers live? Hall and Oates tickets are now available at Stubhub.com.
