Nick Cave publishing new novel
We’ve seen a lot from Nick Cave in the past few years. He’s released new work through his side project, Grinderman, as well as unveiling the raw new sound of The Bad Seeds on Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! He’s collaborated on screenplays like the so-called “outback western” The Proposition, and scored (as well as briefly performed in) the Academy Award-winning The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. He’s also scoring an adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road.
Working in all those mediums, it’s surprising to learn that Cave has found time to sit down and write a new novel—his second, after 1989’s And the Ass Saw The Angel. The new book is titled The Death of Bunny Munro, apparently about a man and his son traveling through southern England after the suicide of the man’s wife.
With all his new creative endeavors, make sure you find time to get some concert tickets and see Cave perform live. Nick Cave tickets can be found at Stubhub.com.
