Feist Fights Hunger
Feist first caught our eye (err, ear) when her infectious tune “1,2,3,4” was featured in an Apple iPod commercial and now that she has garnered the attention of the world for her voice, she is asking for something back. Feist is asking fans to bring either monetary donations or non-perishable food items to her concerts. The singer is currently on a 13-city tour in support of her latest album, The Reminder, and is requesting fans donate to a food drive when attending her shows. She has partnered with CARE Canada, Doctors Without Borders and War Child Canada.
According to her website, fans who contribute to the food drive will be placed in a raffle and the winners with win a special prize from Feist. Feist’s tour kicks off October 14 at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, British Columbia and the show, which boasts a choreographed dance routine, will weave its way throughout the area until its conclusion November 10 at Confederation of the Arts in Charlottestown, Prince Edward Island.
