Even in cartoon form, Willie Nelson has clouds around him

Fans of Stephen Colbert, the late night “conservative” pundit whose truthiness knows no bounds, are getting psyched up for the Nov. 23 special musical presentation that will   be airing on Comedy Central. The musical Thanksgiving special has Colbert stuck in a cabin while various friendly faces—say, Elvis Costello, Feist and John Legend, for example—stop by to talk about the importance of the holidays.

Pitchfork has some new info on the special. The show will be available in stores shortly after it airs as a DVD. But you can also get a musical soundtrack to the show. A portion of the DVD sales will benefit the Feeding America charity. The images available on Pitchfork’s post also include Colbert’s ridiculous winter outfit, parts of which will be auctioned off and also benefit the charity.

But the real jewel? The image from the back of the soundtrack, which includes Colbert and company illustrated like members of the Peanuts gang. Naturally, the illustrators modeled Willie Nelson after Pig Pen. There’s an unmistakable cloud that seems to follow him wherever he goes, too.
