Death Cab’s Airplanes debut record getting reissued
Death Cab for Cutie fans have a soft place in their heart for Something About Airplanes, one of the band’s best-known and certainly well-loved records. It was their debut, their introduction to music fans across the country, and made it clear a new musical talent had arrived on the scene that would be around for quite a while. The band’s later releases proved that to be true.
Pitchfork points out that some reissues will be available for the band’s most recent release, Narrow Stairs, which will be reissued on vinyl, and a CD reissue of Something About Airplanes. If you had been scrounging around for that record for a while and couldn’t find it anywhere, now is the time to start looking again.
If you’re looking for concert tickets to one of the band’s shows, than now is the right time as well. Just get some Death Cab for Cutie tickets at Stubhub.com.
