April 7 Release Date for Rascal Flatts Sixth Album
Lyric Street will issue Rascal Flatts’ sixth album, Unstoppable, April 7. Although no details about the track listing or first single have been revealed as of yet, the album was co-produced by the trio with Dann Huff. Unstoppable is Rascal Flatts’ follow-up effort to 2007’s Still Feels Good, which recently granted the group their ninth No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart with popular track “Here.” According to Nielsen SoundScan, Still Feels Good has sold 2.2 million copies in the U.S.
Rascal Flatts’ fans have the unique chance to design the cover for the band’s new album through a contest with the People’s Choice Awards. PCAvote.com will accept submissions through Jan. 22 and the guys of Rascal Flatts will choose finalists Jan. 28. The finalists will then be presented to fans and winner, who will be revealed in February, will be chosen. The band has a brand new site, Newrfcd.com for the album and fans can text RASCALFLATTS to 66937 to stay up to date on all things regarding Unstoppable. Rascal Flatts will continue their North American tour though the end of January, performing Jan. 17 in Kansas City, Mo.
