It was announced on Tuesday, October 2, by Government Jodi Rell of Connecticut, that the 2nd of October be known as Bruce Springsteen Day in Connecticut being as it is that Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band opened thier first tour in four years on October 2 at the Hartford Civic Center in Connecticut, making the day a very historic one for fans of Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band as well as for the Hartford Civic Center and even more so for Connecticut itself.

The proclamation was undoubtedly greeted with excited shouts and cheers as fans waited eagerly to see their favorite musician perform their favorite songs as this speical venue that night. For their part, Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band have gone on tour to promote their new album, entitled “Magic” and obviously the first day was quite a success!
