Brian Wilson fans, tune in
For those who grew up loving Brian Wilson—or even learned to love his masterful pop creations long after his heyday with the Beach Boys—here’s a tidbit that’s sure to bring a smile to your face. Wilson will be headlining at the Ottawa Bluesfest. The lineup is an interesting one, though not an especially bluesy one. Wilson will be a main draw along with indie chanteuse Feist, indie rockers TV On The Radio and Stars, electronic outfit Ladytron and the Mexi-Cali-inspired Calexico. Not exactly the down-home blues names you’re used to seeing.
That doesn’t subtract from the exciting news of being able to see Wilson along with all these other great bands. Concert tickets will undoubtedly be going quickly, snapped up by fanatical fans.
