Aguilera: Working Mom

According to a new article in the AP, Christina Aguilera admits that it is hard to be a working-mom, especially being a 27-year-old pop star.  She tells the AP that she wasn’t prepared to give up who she was after she took on the challenges of parenthood with her husband Jordan Bratman.  She does admit that she has been performing a bit of a balancing act since the baby arrived, but contends that it is all worth it.

Recently she performed at the Grammy Nominations Conert Live at the Nokie Theatre. During the show she performed the song “I Loves You Porgy” from George Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess.”  Christina Aguilera has become one of today’s most celebrated pop stars ever since her rise to fame in the late 1990’s.
