No More Peace Concerts
Several peace concerts in Tel Aviv and the West Bank town of Jericho have been called off after threats were made to Palestinians who were supporting the event, which was scheduled to be free of charge to those who would sign a petition for peace.
This is quite an unfortunate turn of events for those in the Middle East who were hoping to work towards the idea of peace in the Middle East. The New York-based organization called One Voice planned the shows to support their campaign to collect a million signatures from Israeli’s and Palestinians who were hoping to achieve a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict by October of 2008.
The peace concerts had to be cancelled because of security concerns, including threats to blow up the West Bank office of One Voice. To keep updated on all things going on with regards to these peace concerts, visit stubhub.com today!

The Spice Girls, that quintessential Girl Group from the 1990’s, who spouted Girl Power while they danced onstage in platform shoes and skimpy clothing, singing about keeping friends over boyfriends and empowering yourself as a woman by doing what was best for you rather than what the boys thought you should do, have come back together again for what may very well be one of the most hotly-anticipated reunion tours to date.
