Blue Oysters On Tour

The Oysters are currently out on tour and they are known as one of the most influential bands of the 1970s and 1980s.  After appearing with Christopher Walken on SNL the Blue Oyster Cult became known as comedians not only as rockers.  Some of he cities they are scheduled to appear in, include: Rockford, Illinois, Indianapolis, Indiana; Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Danbury, Conneticut. They will likely put on a great show so make sure that you get your own pair of tickets as soon as possible.

Blue Oyster Cult is an American rock band that was formed in New York in 1967.  The group is best known for three hit songs, “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” “Burnin’ For You” and “Godzilla.”  They are a pioneer in heavy metal music and they have sold over 14 million albums worldwide since their conception.  Make sure to act now to get a hold of your very own pair of Blue Oyster Cult tickets.

Metallica’s new record the first of the season expected to boost the majors

What with all this new-fangled Internet downloading going on with the kids, the major labels have seen record sales slump in their past two fourth quarters, Rolling Stone notes. But there’s a good chance the upcoming season—that’s fall and probably most of winter—will pick sales back up, as they’re stocked with some pretty big releases. The biggest names include U2, Beyonce, AC/DC, Dr. Dre, various American Idol spawned pop stars and the kinds of metal, Metallica (there might also be a release coming from Guns N’ Roses, who, it’s rumored, have been working on a new album).

But the Metallica release is coming up fast, and is expected to be the first of any of them. Their tenth studio album, Death Magnetic, is due out Sept. 12. Expect to have to muscle past plenty of dedicated metalheads to get a copy of that one.

Of course, you could just try and see them live. Concert tickets may be the way to go. Just look up Metallica tickets, available on Stubhub.com.
