Korn Will Leave New Album Untitled

July 31, 2007

The members of nu-metal rock group Korn have decided that, for their upcoming album, they will leave the compilation of songs without a title. Granted, this alone is the title that will stand, with the groups’ most recent production coming out in stores simply as “Untitled” even though the members of Korn worked very long hours to try to come up with a more fitting title. In the end, “Untitled” was the only thing that truly fit the feel of the album.

As Jonathan Davis, the frontman for Korn, put it, “it just felt like [the album] didn’t need to have any kind of boundaries or title to it” whic makes perfect sense. Indeed, an album will have great music whether it has a title or not, and as such this chosen title of the music compilation will undoubtedly be snapped up by fans. For your chance to hear these songs and all of Korn’s great older songs performed live, make sure you keep an eye out on stubhub.com for tickets!

Joss Stone Wants Morrison to Succeed in America!

July 30, 2007

Joss Stone, that soulful singer who everyone from the United Kingdom to the United States of America is excited to see live and listen to on their own iPods and CD players, is now pushing her fellow countryman, Jim Morrison to her own American fans. Being as the two are British there is, prresumably, a comaraderie there, between Stone and Morison hismelf. Hwover, Stone insists that she is just truly enamored by Morriosn’s voice and wants Americans to be able to partake of the great skill and talent that he brings out in the recording studio and live in concert.

It is truly encouraging when one vocal talent will encourage the success of a peer, especially becuase presumably they will ble going after the same audience. Therefore, as with most things, we are all pleasnatly not-surpirsed by STone’s excitement about her peers’ successses and her encouragement of that success. For your chance to see this greatly talented and giving singer live, make sure you get tickets at stubhub.com today!

Joss Stone - Single and Singing!

July 26, 2007

There is no shortage of rumors that swirl around musical stars day in and day out, and that is no different for soulful crooner Joss Stone. Indeed, the soul singer has recently been fielding rumors that she is engaged, and has insisted that in fact she does not even have a boyfriend, nevermind a fiance. The rumors surrounding Stones’ impending nuptials were sparked when the singer was seen wearing a ring on her wedding finger, but apparently a ring can be just a ring and was just such in this case.

Stone was dating songwriter and producer Beau Dozier - son of the legendary Motown songwriter Lamont Dozier - in November of 2005 after a relationshp of 18 months, but since that time no one has come into her life that would make her give up the single life, never mind enter into a married one. Despite being single, of course, Stone continues to wow fans with her incredible vocal stylings, and she surely has plenty of suitors who are just as much in awe of her.

While you may not be able to get a date or ask her to marry you, you can certainly get the chance to see Joss Stone perform live by getting tickets at stubhub.com today!

Yellowcard Loves Their Fans!

July 25, 2007

The boys of Yellowcard have never flagged in popularity since their first album debuted, and this most recent release, entitled “Paper Walls” will surely be no exception. Indeed, the pop-punk sounds of this group, complimented with the violin that makes Yellowcard so unique among an admittedly similar-sounding music industry, continue to bring in new fans just as much as it continues to tickle pink those fans who have been with the band since the beginning.

It truly is the fans that keep any group alive, never mind thriving, and Yellowcard’s fans are no exception. Thankfully this band understands the improtance of its fans to its success and it does what it can to ensure that these fans know how grateful the bandmembers are to have such support. From acoustic shows to intimate gigs, Yellowcard loves to play music first and foremost, but it is playing that music for fans that makes anything worthwhile, becuase a song unheard is a song that might as well have never been written for what effect it will have on its non-existent listeners.

Indeed, Yellowcard’s third album is undoubtedly just as pouplar as its first two have been, so if you haven’t gotten your copy yet, you would do well to buy it soon so you can embrace the hype as well! Also, for your chance to see this great group live, make sur eyou get tickets at stubhub.com today!

Ex-Korn Guitarist Book Tour Ending

July 25, 2007

The book tour that ex-lead guitarist Brian “Head” Welch has been carrying on in support of his newly published autobiography about his time in the band Korn, his fall into heavy drug use, and his rise out of drug-induced despair as he became a born-again Chrisitan, is ending. Just as they say that all press is good press, so is the case with this story which could easily have been a long essay slamming Welch’s ex-bandmates. However, current frontman for Korn, Jonathan Davis, read the book himself and was relieved that such was not the case at all, as Welch instead took the book on a journey of self-examination rather than slamming those who helped him rise to enough fame and prominence that anyone would care about his fall and subsequent rise back into so-called “normal” society, albeit, of the born-again Christian variety.

As the book tour ends, Welch will go on in his life and the publicity that Korn has received as being a part of the storyline within this book, will surely continue on as well. Still making music and going on tour, Korn shows no sigh of slowing down as their Family Values Tour still continues on and their fans continue to loyally follow, rocking out to their hearts’ content. For your chance to see Korn live, make sure you get tickets at stubhub.com today!
